The display device is mostly irrelevant (just needs to be able to run the Steam Link app) since all the heavy lifting is done by the PC running the game. For that matter, you can play it on a tablet or phone or Nvidia Shield instead of your Mac. From your Mac's POV, it's just displaying a streamed movie. Your Mac uses its h.264 decoder to display that video stream. The PC uses its h.264 encoder to convert the game's video into a video stream in real-time. So you can use a tool like Steam Link to pipe the game's video output to your Mac over your LAN. All modern graphics cards come with native h.264 hardware encode and decode. Running an extra PC through your monitors is pretty easy nowadays. Meaning whether a game will run on it is hit and miss. While Parallels is the usual go-to, my understanding is that on ARM-based Macs (M1/M2), it emulates the ARM version of Windows, not the 圆4 version.
